Species Spotlight

The Critically Endangered Javan Rhino

โš ๏ธ CONSERVATION ALERT: With fewer than 80 individuals left in the wild, Ujung Kulon National Park is the absolute last refuge for this magnificent species.

The Javan rhinoceros is vulnerable to invasive Arenga palms that choke out their food sources, habitat encroachment, and natural disasters. Our rangers conduct active anti-poaching patrols and habitat clearing to give this prehistoric species a fighting chance at survival.

Our Strategic Pillars

How we implement landscape-scale solutions to combine biodiversity conservation with human prosperity.

Biodiversity

Indonesia’s archipelago is home to globally significant species. We protect key endemic and threatened wildlife like Javan rhinos, orangutans, and Sumatran tigers.

Landscapes & Seascapes

The diversity of ecosystems calls for integrated, landscape-level planning. We design and protect wildlife corridors, restore forests, and establish marine sanctuaries.

People & Communities

Empowering local people is critical for conservation. We collaborate with communities, respect land rights, and support eco-friendly livelihood programs.
